L. Nathaniel Rock, Publisher of African-American Opinion.com and it's African-American Opinion Blog announced the lauching of the websites today. Both the website and the BLOG will serve as an independent nonpartisan resource on trends in news and African-American (Black) public opinion.

Rock said, "We will provide a weekly journal and information portal that provides a forum for public social and political debate about current issues affecting the African-American (Black) community."

Rock said, " we also plan to publish articles to stimulate a public discourse on a range of topics."The articles he said, will be gathered from a variety of independent sources and published in the belief that ideas are the essence of progress and that issues and opinions should be addressed, not suppressed.

Rock, a housing and community development consultant, free lance writer and entrepreneur said he is a former supporter of the Democratic Party and now considers himself a liberal conservative. Rock holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Massachusetts, College of Public and Community Service and hold a Masters Degree from Cambridge College at Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Rock urged African-American writers and everyday African-American citizens to contribute to the dialogue and discussion. He indicated the websites are currently under construction and will be fully operational by March 15, 2006.
