Informa India is delighted to announce that Admiral Arun Prakash, Former Chief of the Naval Staff; D.T. Joseph, Former Union Secretary of the Ministry of Shipping; Vice Admiral John C De Silva, Former Vice Chief of the Naval Staff and Former Director General, Coast Guard; and Commander AJB Singh, Ex Indian Navy and MoD – where he was the organiser of previous DefExpo and Aero India exhibitions -are amongst the panelists for MSI 2008 Exhibition and Conference.
In his welcome message for the event, Admiral Prakash writes that “Maritime Security International is not just timely, but promises to be a most significant event for the maritime community. By providing a common meeting ground for maritime associations, navies, coast guards, shipping companies, ports authorities, service providers and many other related agencies, MSI 2008, will facilitate not just dialogue and information exchange, but also enable a focused examination of maritime security problems and the available solutions”.
Organised by Informa, the owners of information super-brands including Lloyd’s MIU and Datamonitor - in association with Lloyd’s List, the international maritime and transport newspaper – MSI 2008 is India’s first large-scale exhibition dedicated entirely to maritime and naval defence and security.
