Al Masaood Automobiles, exclusive distributors for Nissan and Infiniti range of vehicles in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain have announced sales results for the first Quarter of 2008 (Jan – March’08) and have registered double-digit year on year growth.
In the Passenger Car Line Up, the Nissan TIIDA, available in 1.6 & 1.8 L Engine configurations and Sedan as well as Hatchback Body styles, continues to enjoy healthy sales. The all new Altima, available in Sedan and Coupe Body styles, with class leading features like Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, Bose® audio system with 9 speakers including an auxiliary audio input for iPod, built-in Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System, dual-zone automatic climate control and steering wheel-mounted controls (includes Bluetooth system, Audio system and Cruise control) is enjoying unprecedented sales.
Nissan offers the largest SUV line up in the region and models like the recently launched crossover Qashqai and the Xterra for adventure seeking customers are creating an increasing customer base. There is a continued demand for the other models in the SUV line up which include the reliable X Trail, stylish Murano, legendary Patrol and full size Armada.
High Growth in sales has been experienced by models such as Pick Up, Navara Double Cab Pick Up (available with A/T transmission), Urvan and Civilian in the Commercial Vehicle line Up. There is extensive commercial activity taking place in Abu Dhabi and Nissan is favorably contributing to the same with its line up of dependable and reliable models that are being used to transport both men and material.
Nissan’s luxury car division, Infiniti is steadily emerging as a strong challenger to established luxury marques with an elaborate line up comprising of the M35 and M45 Luxury Sedan, G35 Sedan, G37 Coupe, EX35 and FX 35 Luxury Crossover and the full size Luxurious QX56 which are all registering significant growth over last year.
