TekTegrity Inc., an IT Strategies and Management company, is proud to announce the newest additions to its expanding team of associates. Kyle Carrion, Lead Technician; Michael Lewis, Project Engineer/Coordinator; Matt Nguyen, Account Representative and Maribel Acedo, Purchasing Agent have recently been added to the TekTegrity family as the company continues to rapidly grow and expand.
Carrion now calls TekTegrity home as he joins the ranks of TekTegrity’s accomplished Managed Systems Technician crew as a lead technician. Carrion boasts a resume that includes several years of computer repair and customer service experience. His experience includes working with several computer platforms including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. Prior to working with TekTegrity, Carrion was employed at Cuesta College, San Luis Obispo, California where he worked as a PC and network support technician. Through his experience at Cuesta College, Carrion became well versed on both PC and Macintosh computer systems. Carrion, already a Cuesta College graduate, continues his education by attending online computer networking classes during his spare time.
Lewis brings nine years of IT industry experience to his new position of Project Engineer/ Coordinator at TekTegrity. Lewis’ responsibilities include assisting in managing and implementing projects for TekTegrity’s clients. Lewis is MCSC certified and a graduate of Santa Barbara Business College. He currently lives in Santa Maria and commutes to San Luis Obispo. Although the commute is long he feels that it worth it because, “TekTegrity is a great place to work with lots of fun people.”
TekTegrity’s Santa Maria and Santa Barbara clients will now have their own account representative, as new hire Nguyen will now handle all new sales opportunities in these territories. Nguyen, with over five years of experience, is no stranger to the customer service industry. In addition to Nguyen’s work history, he is also a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo; where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology. Nguyen is enthusiastic about his new position at TekTegrity, “I am excited to be working for a growing company and can not wait to represent TekTegrity in both Santa Maria and Santa Barbara.”
Acedo has been hired to meet the demanding purchasing needs of TekTegrity by filling the newly created position of Purchasing Agent. As a Purchasing Agent, she will be responsible for all vendor negotiations. Acedo graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Communications. Acedo began her career in customer service and project management in the print industry. Acedo has over nine years of experience in purchasing; as a result, she has developed strong negotiating skills. Prior to TekTegrity, Acedo worked for Home Depot Supply Inc. and SanDisk Corporation.
