Pump It Up, the nation's largest franchise of giant, indoor, inflatable playgrounds for children of all ages, has approximately 170 locations in operation throughout the country that offer large-warehouse sized facilities filled with colorful, interactive inflatables that stand nearly two stories high.
The half-day, week-long sessions teach students cutting-edge technology and 21st century skills to help them not only thrive in school, but also prepare for their future careers. Along with exercising their minds, the Cybercamps program also enables participants to stay physically active by bouncing, sliding and jumping in Pump It Up's inflatable party zone.
"We are thrilled to offer Cybercamps at several Pump It Up locations throughout the United States," said Pete Findley, CEO of Giant Campus. "This program is a great blend of Giant Campus' research-proven curriculum and Pump It Up's fun and exciting atmosphere. After years of offering innovative technology camps for kids, we know they definitely learn more when they're having fun!"
The Cybercamps programs are available for two separate age groups. For students ages 6-9, the activities include instructor-led activities and interactive group sessions that allow participants to play keyboarding games, create an arcade-style game, learn sound recording and editing and create a CD cover.
For the older students, ages 9-11, Cybercamps (cybercamps.com) offers self-paced projects using the latest software in game design, digital photography, Flash animation and Web design. Along with building an arcade-style game, the participants can also create a "morphing" animation, a Web site and a cool name plate.
The Cybercamps programs - which are now open for enrollment in California, Florida, Illinois, Oregon and Washington state - are perfect for parents who want to find a safe and fun environment for their children to meet new friends and develop their computer skills.
Plus, the Pump It Up locations are dedicated solely to Cybercamps during the camps' hours, ensuring that each student is in a great learning environment and receives the instructors' complete attention.
