Prior to joining EDS Technologies, Vijayakumar was working at Vellore Institute of Technology as a Training Manager.

G C Vijayakumar is a Mechanical Engineer with an ME (Machine Design) and an MBA (Finance) from Southeastern University, Washington, D.C. He has 23 years of rich experience in training & academics and has been instrumental in planning, designing, organizing, coordinating and conducting various training programs on technical and soft skills for students, corporates and trainers during his tenure with different organizations. He was a Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore and as a Senior Lecturer in Industrial Engineering Department at Southeastern University, Washington, D.C
