Auriga, a U.S.-based software R&D and IT outsourcing services provider with development centers in Russia, announced that it has been included in the 2008 Global Services 100, a list of the top global providers of business and technology services.
This year’s list, brought together by Global Services and neoIT, comprised participants from 17 countries, with delivery centers across 31 countries. The evaluation was based upon data obtained from the service providers and third parties regarding effective operations, service offerings, client relationships and human capital. Winners were selected in each of 10 categories, including service-delivery areas such as IT services, customer care, and business process outsourcing. Winners were also named in regions such as Eastern Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Now in its fourth year, the Global Services 100 list has grown to be a highly credible listing of global IT services and BPO companies. According to Ed Nair, Editor, Global Services, it represents companies who have the maturity and capability to lead the next wave of services globalization. “The list helps service buyers leapfrog the request-for-information stage and the category winners almost always make it to the RFP stage in a service deal. That’s the unique advantage a Global Services 100 company enjoys,” he stated.
“We are honored to have been selected to the Global Services 100 for the third consecutive year,” said Alexis Sukharev, Auriga CEO and founder. “At Auriga, we take pride in our client centricity, strife for excellence, delivery capabilities, and highly skilled human resources. We believe these core attributes have allowed us to be repeatedly recognized as one of the world’s best IT outsourcing providers and to have retained this position of distinction over the years,” he added.
Significantly, Auriga has also been selected to the “Top 10 Leaders, Emerging European Markets–2008”. This recognition validates Auriga’s position as one of the leading software outsourcing service providers in the region. In 2007, Auriga was listed among the “Top 10 to Watch in Emerging European Markets”. The 2006 Black Book of Outsourcing featured Auriga as one of the “TOP 10 ITO Offshore: Eastern / Central Europe”.
