Los Angeles City Council Member Tom LeBonge and several other city officials will also join the celebration to honor one of the first transit-oriented developments to open in the San Fernando Valley. Everyone is excited about the new developments headed by companies like J.H. Snyder and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles (CRA/LA), “The location is absolutely ideal to serve the people who live and work in the NoHo Arts District and those who commute there by subway and busway,” said HOWS Markets Partner Mark Oerum. “We’re proud that HOWS Market is playing a pivoting role in revitalizing North Hollywood.”
Special performances will take place every hour by NoHo organizations, including those by Millennium Dance Complex, Byron Fry House Band, XMA Revolution: Extreme Martial Arts, a stunt show by the World Sports Center and much more. Attendees will be entertained all day long with live on-the-hour performances, celebrity autograph signings, live entertainment, and local retailer and sponsor giveaways while supplies last.
About HOWS Market
HOWS Markets was established in 1999 with the opening of our first store in Granada Hills. Formerly known as the Hughes Family Markets, the four partners saw a void in the marketplace for a quality food store with fair prices and great service. HOWS Markets operates five supermarkets in the Southern California area in Granada Hills, Pasadena, Malibu and Torrance. The Newest addition is located in the NoHo district of North Hollywood which was opened in the summer of 2007.
