The Foundation, which issues grants on a semi-annual basis, distributed $213,500 to communities in 2007.

“We are so pleased to be able to give back to these fine organizations within our geographical area”, said Chad Pennington, Foundation President. “The Foundation continues to grow each year, and as a result, we are able to reach out to more organizations, which is very exciting.”

The following organizations received grants for Fall 2007:

• Little Victories (Barboursville, WV) – funding to provide school groups, 4-H, and other children’s organizations the opportunity to work with animals & learn simple skills and humane care.

• Fellowship of Christian Athletes (South Central West Virginia) – funding to assist with the One Way 2 Play (OW2P) program, which equips young people with tools for a drug-free lifestyle.
