Unbounded Solutions is setting trends by providing bonuses for employees driving hybrids and moving the corporate headquarters into an Energy Star Building, Unbounded Solutions is changing for a better tomorrow. Much of the change has been encouraged by the internal staff, which portrays a sense of pride in their “green” culture.
Unbounded Solutions has taken many steps to upgrade their Atlanta corporate headquarters to an environmentally friendly work space. In October of last year, Unbounded Solutions decided it was needed to move the corporate headquarters to a larger and more “green” area. The fact that their new location was an Energy Star Building was a big selling point. By renting space on an Energy Star building Unbounded Solutions intends to send a strong message for both builders and brokers about the increasing demand for more energy efficient office space.
This was the first steps of many. Since this time, many policies have been put in place employee recommendations. The Atlanta office now boasts full recycling, after hour’s full power-down, reusable cups, and a near paperless office in which the minimal paper that is used is, you got it, recycled.
“By adopting these measures we are assuring that we take a responsible stand on climate change and other environmental issues that afflict our planet”, stated procurement manager Lakshmi Thadani. “It’s nice to know that the company recognizes this as a relevant issue and brings it to our attention through effective measures and education. Now more than ever we need to conserve our resources and think not only in terms of meeting immediate business needs, but in terms shaping long term legacies worth living for.”
