NewswireTODAY - /newswire/ - Sacramento, CA, United States, 2008/01/29 - Unify Corp., a global provider of application modernization software, today announced that it has closed a large sale of its data management & application development software to a major Russian commercial bank with its Russian partner Bus [OTCBB: UFYC].

The product value of the contract to Unify is approximately $800,000, which will be recognized in the Company’s third quarter ended January 31, 2008.

Under the agreement, the bank migrated its existing Unify software based application to a new hardware platform, which will now be deployed to hundreds of new bank branches. The bank was able to migrate the Unify-based application to the new hardware platform in a cost-effective manner, as a result of Unify’s ongoing commitment to keep its software modern and easy to deploy.
