Time Warner Cable, the nation’s second largest cable television operator and provider of telecommunications services, announced today the appointment of Bruce Catter as the new Vice President of Engineering in its Buffalo Division. Catter joins Time Warner Cable after more than 30 years of engineering experience. Catter will help build and design the technology systems that distribute Time Warner’s phone, high speed internet and video services for all of Western New York. He will direct and manage all aspects of the Buffalo Division’s data networks and distribution hubs, and ensure the highest level of system performance, reliability and quality.

Catter joined Time Warner Cable (timewarnercable.com) in 2001 as the Vice President of Engineering in Kimberly, Wisconsin. Just prior to joining the Buffalo Division, he served as the Vice President of Sustaining Engineering for Time Warner Cable at the corporate headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Catter holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland.
