The deal establishes Ippon Technologies as a premier partner in France, Switzerland, and Morocco.
The partnership brings together category-leading technology from MuleSource and implementation expertise from Ippon Technologies to serve a growing demand to better integrate information systems and applications. Today, Mule is the most widely used open source enterprise service bus (ESB) on the market with over 1 million downloads and more than 2,000 organisations running Mule as a core piece of their SOA strategy. France, for example, is the second largest European market for Mule and the French SOA market looks set to maintain double digit growth over the next 5 years, providing a ripe opportunity for Ippon Technologies to leverage Mule as a foundation for developing and deploying mission-critical applications.
The formalised partnership agreement follows a successful collaboration between the two companies to integrate an open source messaging backbone architecture with a range of healthcare CRM solutions developed by CEGEDIM, the world's leading CRM provider for the healthcare sector.

At present, Mule and Ippon Technologies are involved in a range of CEGEDIM projects including:
• Global Invoices Systems (GIS): electronic data transmission of invoices for insurance companies, hospitals & pharmaceutical companies around the World.
• Qualitrans-Telepharma: transmission of payment permissions from healthcare insurance companies to pharmacies through the Carte Vitale, the French social security card. More than 100 million transactions per year.
• Electronic transmission of product orders for hospitals.
