Stephen P. Trenholm, a CPA and tax manager with Russell Bedford Boston member firm, Rucci, Bardaro & Barrett, has been appointed to the Tax Practice Improvement Committee of the US accounting profession’s national flagship organisation, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Stephen Trenholm, who became a certified public accountant in 1982, will serve on the 14-member volunteer committee for a one-year term.
In his appointed role, Stephen will help analyse new, emerging or changing areas of tax practice, and will assist with the issuance of practice guidelines, updates and checklists to help AICPA members improve the scope and quality of their tax practices.
The AICPA is the largest professional organisation for CPAs and accounting professionals in the USA, with over 330,000 members.
