When Dave Austin became the exclusive distributor of the patented SureHands patient lift system in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, he never realized that he was about to embark on a career that would transform him into a consultant and advocate for persons with disabilities.
Almost 15 years ago, when Austin founded Lift & Care Systems in Lakeville, MA, he set out to explore the market for SureHands ceiling mounted lifts.
