Medi-EMR U.S.A., the U.S. division of Medi-EMR, one of the U.S.'s fastest growing electronic health records management companies, named Jon S. Benjamin Executive Vice President of Global Corporate Development.
Benjamin's hire jump starts Medi-EMR's expansion in the Canadian Healthcare market and positions the company for global launch in 2008. The announcement was made today by Matthew D'Alessandro, CEO of Medi-EMR.
Benjamin, who will be based in Toronto, Ontario Canada, has served as VP Sales & Marketing for EZENET as well as Executive Vice President, Business Development and advisory board lead for high tech and venture start-ups including MLABS Americas and VCOM Global, he will establish the company's international corporate structure as well as founding board of directors and advisory presence in the Canadian as well as the U.S. market, with a focus on leveraging his extensive network in North America. In addition to being the lead in strategy and corporate development executive for Medi-EMR, Benjamin will also head up the creation of the North American Sales team by working with the founders to hand pick the leading managers and medical records sales and marketing talent in both Canada and the U.S. Matthew D'Alessandro today said: "Jon is a capable leader with an impressive track record and is one of the most creative and passionate out of the box company builders in the high tech industry.
