Detroit, MI, United States, 2007/11/16 - Understanding the importance of Omega 3 Fatty Acids for preventing and curing disease as endorsed by the American Heart Association, Mayo Clinic and the NIH - PaintCreekChiropractic.com.
The medical, academic and scientific communities all concur – Omega 3-Fatty Acids are vital to preventing death, disease and debilitation
Maintaining Paint Creek Chiropractic’s tradition of offering the Rochester community free and easy access to information necessary for naturally, independently achieving and maintaining optimum health, Dr. Eric DeRusha will be offering a free lecture on Omega 3 Fatty acids on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00 pm
Conducted by Jeff Munro of NutriWest Supplement Company, the lecture will focus on how and why Omega 3 Fatty Acids have become one of – if not the – most deficient, yet vital, nutrients in our diets and bodies.
“The health benefits of fish oils and Omega-3 have been talked about for twenty years, but the discussions were mostly amongst those who were already inclined to embrace nutritional supplements and alternative health care. Now that Omega 3’s have been endorsed, and practically prescribed by organizations including The Mayo Clinic, the American Heart Association, and the National Institute of Health, it is important for people to learn everything there is to know about these fatty acids before rushing out to their local grocery store and buying a bottle off the shelf.” Dr. DeRusha commented.
Basically, Dr. DeRusha wants people to be familiar with other important aspects of Omega 3-Fatty Acids, in addition to learning the wide range of diseases Omega 3’s have been proven to treat, cure and/or prevent. These aspects include knowing how much to take, the different types and forms available, what “brands” to stay away from and how best to incorporate Omega 3 oils into your diet in order to experience their full benefits.
The lecture begins at 7:00 pm and like all Paint Creek Chiropractic Health and Wellness lectures, it is free. Because seating is limited, it is suggested to phone in advance. Refreshments will be served and guest speaker Jeff Munro will be available to answer questions at the conclusion of his presentation.
