Germany will soon have the world’s tallest statue of Jesus Christ. The statue will be 17 meters higher than the existing and recently named one of “New Seven Wonders of the World”, the sculpture of Christ the Redeemer whose height is 38 meters.
According to newsru.net, the organizer of the 55-meter statue is Dresden citizen Harry Fosberg initiated the idea and already accepts online donations towards this new project. It was estimated that for the project to be complete, it is needs at least 2 million euros. Information about the material from which the statue will be made out of and who the name of the sculptor will be is not available at this time.
According to Fosberg, the biggest statue of Christ will be built at the altitude of 1613 meters in the region of Bad Reichenhall in the Bavarian Alps. It will probably become a very popular place for Christian visitors from all over the world.
