Couvrette developed the new surround when Sky Bank of Ohio asked them to engineer a solution to allow them to easily upgrade aging ATMs installed on existing narrow islands, eliminating the cost typically associated with island expansion. Originally designed for the Diebold Opteva 750 ATM, the Ultra Slim Surround can be engineered by Couvrette to accommodate almost any islander-style ATM machine. Backlit signage further increases the visibility of the surround, and Couvrette offers complete custom branding to match the requirements of any financial institution. The building is finished using automotive quality polyurethane paint with a ten (10) year warranty to offer a highly durable product. Backlit signage on the canopy acts as a transaction magnet with high impact, and optional downlighting may be installed to increase security for the ATM user and service personnel. The Ultra Slim Surround may also be used in walk-up ATM installations where a narrow footprint is desired.
