August Zehner will become Paragent’s new Executive Vice President of Sales. Mr. Zehner has been involved in technology sales for more than 20 years in both private and public companies. Prior to Paragent, he was a regional sales manager for Monster Worldwide, Inc.

Mr. Zehner's main focus is to further strengthen Paragent's place in the IT marketplace. Zehner says the turnkey nature of Paragent’s offering is likely to appeal to both the Enterprise and SMB marketplace that are not inclined to take on the integration work of traditional server-based solutions. "While most competitors offer complex and hard to implement solutions that fit only enterprise budgets, we offer a cost-effective, simple to install solution that provides real business return on investment,” stated Zehner.

Late last year, the company released its second product, Paragent.com, which is a web-based application that helps companies better manage computers. Tim Ritchey, CTO and architect of the software, said that companies need a way to simplify the process of monitoring and managing computers so they can do more with fewer people. “Computing infrastructures have gotten larger and more complex in recent years while IT budgets have remained flat or grown only slightly. This product bridges that gap.” Pricing of the product is based on a subscription model.

Prior to Monster, Mr. Zehner was Director of Sales for Tumbleweed Communications, a provider of secure Internet communication solutions, which had acquired start-up company Corvigo, where he was Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Zehner graduated from Ball State University receiving a BS in Marketing. He holds an MBA from Anderson University, where he has been teaching eBusiness and eMarketing classes as an adjunct professor since 2004.
