Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, 2005/12/12 - The British Learning Association (BLA) is pleased to announce a one day learning event that it is organising on 'International opportunities for learning & development', on Wednesday 22nd February 2006 at the DTI Conference Centre, London.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) have identified the UK's learning & development sector as a centre of international expertise worthy of promoting to international markets, and are supporting the BLA to organise it as a primary leader in this sector.
Brian Merison, General Manager of the BLA said, "The aim of the event is to encourage many types of providers in the learning & development sector to engage with international export opportunities, and to offer guidance in the support available from UKTI in the development of an overseas marketing strategy".
He went on to say, "We are delighted with the continuous support we have received from UKTI. The partnership of the two organisations has developed great strengths and we look forward to working with them in the future"
Delegates will have the chance to review case studies of those already active in international markets with discussion on the support available to help them take up export opportunities and achieve success.
The event is aimed at learning providers across all media and markets, e-learning content & systems providers in organisations, colleges and universities, educators, consultants, practitioners, RDAs and chambers of commerce, with an interest in developing international market opportunities and partnerships for their products and services.
The event is organised by the British Learning Association & supported by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) International Sector Group for Education & Training, and as a result there is no charge to attend.
