John Stiger has gone from Marine, to church youth director, to successful network marketer, and now uses his newfound success to help others excel to the same level. I'm really young at heart," he said, "very active, and like to do a lot of things."
Stiger related his path to success recently to Natalie Stahl, CEO of Platinum7 Consulting, who works with some of the top producers in the industry. One thing Stiger noted is that in the current educational system, there is very little encouragement for youth to achieve a high level of success. "It's very tough to become wealth-minded in the current education system,î he said. In looking for ways to help the youth in his church get into that mindset and go on to succeed, he started looking at network marketing as an opportunity."
"All network marketing companies are set up for you to make a lot of money. This is what I want for my children, but also for the kids at church, and the many people I come in contact with," he said. "That's what led me to do this the drive to help other people, to teach people how to be wealthy and have time freedom."
Stiger reached a turning point in his personal life, which convinced him to get into network marketing. "With two people working in the family, it's hard to do the things you want to do," he related. "You want to go to school functions, and you see places you want to go on vacation, but where do you get all the time? People that make a lot of money have a greater opportunity to do good thingsóbut they also have to have the time freedom to take advantage of those opportunities. That's what drove me to network marketing."
Stiger especially appreciated the opportunity presented by entrepreneur and multimillionaire Ty Coughlin, known as the Reverse Funnel System. "With most network marketing companies, you have to put in a lot of legwork. Despite claims to the contrary, it takes a lot of hours to become successful with most of these things, and you're limited by how many parties you can host in your home, how many people you can meet, and how many miles you can drive. And in the end, you end up spending more time away from your family than you did when you started. It's counter-productive. The Reverse Funnel system is automated, so you donít have to spend the time having home meetings, and doing all the other running around that are typical of other network marketing programs."
He praised Coughlin's Reverse Funnel System for its simplicity and ease of operation. "Even though I personally have experience in sales, and of course plenty of experience in just relating to people on a personal level, I was looking for a system that didnít require that." Stiger says that it is very possible for a person with absolutely no marketing experience to succeed with this system.
