Arcadis recently upgraded the company’s project accounting, billing and time and expense management system for the firm’s multi location users to Deltek Vision – a web based enterprise management solution for project driven organisations.
“Our biggest use of Vision is for monitoring project performance and billing. We run a large number of projects – up to 350 active projects at any given time” said Zoë Braven–Giles, Data Management and Vision Application Administrator.
With the new web based platform, employees are now able to access the system at any one time and from any place, whether it is in the office or at home. The company says Deltek Vision provides the accountability needed to keep projects running smoothly.
The reporting functionality of Vision far exceeds the capabilities of their legacy system. This results in significant time saving for the company. Waiting time for project management reports have been reduced from several hours to several minutes.
Following the successful installation, data conversion and training, the system was up and running within one month. Arcadis says it is now better able to rein in spending and to work in a much more controlled environment.
