Iona Moon, LLC, through an agreement with Vital Strategies of Norfolk, VA, has been selected to direct operations of the newly-formed non-profit consortium: Adaptive Collaborative Customer Engagement Solution (ACCES).
ACCES represents a collaboration of corporate resources, capabilities, technologies, and ideas, with an innovative approach to customer engagement and customer advocacy. The ACCES business model puts forth “best of breed” small and medium-sized businesses to meet government program requirements through contracts traditionally dominated by large industrial primes.
“The historically stove-piped systems and proprietary approach to large programs of record are inhibitors to innovation and cost savings for the government. The ACCES business model is a direct response to calls for open architecture solutions and contractor collaboration from the highest levels of government and DoD leadership:” Nick Karangelen, president of Trident Systems, Inc. and founding board member of ACCES. Trident Systems was honored in the second quarter of 2007 as the recipient of the billionth dollar in program funding awarded to small technology businesses by NAVSEA’s submarines program office.
ACCES membership will be limited to those small and medium-sized businesses that demonstrate outstanding innovation, sound management practices, financial viability, and exceptional performance records. Member companies must adhere to a strict code of ethics. Contract cost, schedule, and performance of ACCES collaborative engagements will be closely monitored by an ACCES executive committee.
