Bangalore, Karnataka, India, 2007/09/19 - think3, Inc. today announced the appointment of Vignesh Kumar as Head Sales - South Asia. To be based out of Pune, Vignesh will be responsible for developing the South Asian Market, including India, SE Asia and Australasia for think3’s products.

Announcing the appointment, Tom Davis, International Sales Director, think3 Inc. said, “think3 has identified South Asia specifically India as its next frontier for expansion and is looking for rapid growth in this region. There has been significant spurt in manufacturing & industrial activity in this zone over the past 3-5 years and undoubtedly countries in this province are expected to dominate manufacturing in the years to come. We are confident Vignesh with his wealth of experience in marketing & sales, besides shaping and driving our strategy for the region, would also facilitate scaling up operations rapidly at think3 across South Asia.”

Prior to joining think3, Vignesh was with UGS for a decade, where he was involved in setting up a tier two channel network in Western India. His last assignment was as Regional Manager-West Operations, where he led the sales team from the front, and was instrumental in major account wins. Having worked for companies like Bharat Forge and TCS, Vignesh brings in a wealth of CAD Industry experience.
A metallurgical engineer from Pune University, Vignesh has a MBA in marketing from the same university.
