With the assistance of CJPS Enterprises, LLC, The Standing Company is in the process of obtaining several other technologies of interest.
The “Ride Along” consists of a platform added to a wheelchair to transport a standing rider in addition to the person sitting in that wheelchair. This invention assists the caregiver or friend by providing the option to ride along, and reduce the amount of walking by that helper. This new option will be available on all models of the company’s products. The Standing Company is the manufacturer of the “SuperStand” wheelchair, which allows someone who is normally confined to a seated position in a traditional wheelchair, to stand up with ease and safety.
The Standing Company, a standing wheelchair designer and manufacturer for over 15 years, has been successfully growing by providing wheelchair-bound individuals the option to stand up as often as they wish, easily and safely, to help minimize complications associated with continuous sitting. David Maczik, The Standing Company’s President states, “We are excited to add this option to our existing products. This is in response to feedback from some of our customers who wanted this feature for the caregiver.” He adds: “We have been pleased to find local experts to assist us with the exclusive license of this invention.”
The Standing Company engaged CJPS Enterprises, LLC to add to its product portfolio. The high-growth strategy firm, known for its speed and results, identified, negotiated and helped close this transaction in record time. CJPS Enterprises (cjps-enterprises.com) is a hands-on consulting firm specializing in plan execution to create high growth for its clients.
Saginaw Future, Inc., a local economic development organization, introduced The Standing Company to the high-growth strategy firm CJPS Enterprises, LLC. This assistance was also made possible through the 21st Century Jobs Fund Life Sciences Pipeline, managed by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the state of Michigan through one of Governor Jennifer Granholm’s growth initiatives.
