This seminar, introducing participants to American style BBQ (From Memphis to Texas), will include marinades, wet rubs, dry rubs, and other cooking techniques such as slow cooking (smoking), different fuels and equipment resources. An expert in safe and healthy cooking, Chef Capon (colincapon.com) is the captain of the British BBQ Team, gold medal winners at the European BBQ Olympics and international winners of the 2005 Jack Daniels World Invitation BBQ Championships. About the American Museum in Britain
The American Museum in Britain (americanmuseum.org) is situated at Claverton Manor overlooking the Avon valley just outside Bath. Since 1961, it has been the only dedicated museum of Americana outside the United States celebrating the development of American decorative arts.
