In January, 2007, Phyto-Source’s plant capacity was successfully increased by over forty percent to meet the increased demand for the company’s cholesterol-lowering food ingredient, Phyto-S-Sterol™. Further process debottlenecking initiatives, technology improvements, and capital additions have resulted in an additional thirty percent capacity increase. The plant’s total output is now 3000 MT per year.
