SAS has been named to the Forbes Accessibility 200 list, which recognizes global organizations driving innovation and impact in accessibility. The recognition highlights the work across SAS to create more inclusive products and experiences for customers.
SAS is included alongside global organizations such as Microsoft, Google and Amazon, which are advancing technologies and experiences that make the world more accessible.
“We’re honored for SAS to be recognized in this way, because for us, accessibility is not a feature. It is fundamental to how we think about innovation,” said Reggie Townsend, Vice President of AI Ethics, Governance and Social Impact at SAS. “If we are serious about making data and AI work for everyone, then we have to start by deciding who is at the table. That means including people with disabilities not just as users, but as designers, advisors and decision-makers, so the solutions we build reflect the full range of human experience and truly work for all.”
For decades, SAS has driven innovation in analytics through accessible data visualizations, sonification of data and accessible dashboards. More recently, SAS introduced the industry’s first accessible low-code/no-code development environment, Flows in SAS Data and AI Studio, further expanding access to advanced analytics.
