TDK Corporation announces that it has received the award for Excellence at the NIKKEI Integrated Report Award 2025. This is the fourth consecutive year that TDK has received this award.
Based on TDK’s unique corporate culture of “functional equality,” the report highlights how the efforts of TDK United team members (employees) contribute to maximizing FCF (free cash flow), reducing cost of capital, improving the expected growth rate, and enhancing corporate value.
In awarding this year's prize, the judges evaluated the following points:
• TDK United Report 2025 (renamed from “Integrated Report” this year to reflect a deliberate choice) is a highly polished report. It systematically organizes initiatives to enhance corporate value around the Long-term Vision "TDK Transformation." It clearly positions “TDK United,“ “functional equality," and "TDK Venture Spirit" as core corporate values, emphasizing respect for diversity and strengthening organizational capabilities throughout.
• It connects the Long-term Vision to growth strategies, key issues (materiality), capital policy, ESG, and governance as a value creation narrative. Presenting both planned and actual KPI values side by side demonstrates a high level of completeness as an integrated report.
In addition, for the "Excellent Materiality-focused Sustainability disclosure," TDK received 2 votes and for the “Most-improved Materiality-focused Sustainability disclosure,” TDK received 2 votes by asset managers entrusted with domestic equity investments of the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
TDK continues to place importance on active information disclosure and mutual communication with stakeholders to enhance its corporate value.

Excellent materiality-focused sustainability disclosure selected by GPIF’s asset managers entrusted with domestic equity investment
In the selection process, the GPIF has asked asset managers entrusted with domestic equity investments to identify up to 10 companies that provide “Excellent materiality-focused sustainability disclosure” disclosures that were deemed helpful during engagement throughout the year and up to 5 companies that provide “Most-improved materiality-focused sustainability disclosure.“ The survey results were compiled into two lists, consisting of 89 companies recognized for Excellent materiality-focused sustainability disclosure and 66 companies recognized for most-improved materiality-focused sustainability disclosure.
