A strong partnership for mutual growth
The partnership leverages the globally trusted OSRAM brand and Ziwooo’s advanced capabilities in phototherapy and consumer health devices.
Ziwooo Biotechnology, a company with headquarters in Taicang, Suzhou, China, gains exclusive rights to introduce OSRAM-branded health and beauty products, strengthening its market position and accelerating its cross-country expansion into Greater China, APAC, Australia, and New Zealand. “Ziwooo Biotechnology is proud to partner with ams OSRAM to bring premium health and beauty products to Greater China, APAC countries, Australia, and New Zealand. There are as well benefits for ams OSRAM: The partnership positions the OSRAM brand in the Health & Beauty sector, reinforcing its presence in new consumer markets. “With Ziwooo Biotechnology, we found a trusted partner who is expanding the OSRAM brand into Health & Beauty for the first time. By combining the excellent reputation of the OSRAM brand with Ziwooo’s innovation and execution power, both companies aim to establish a new benchmark for quality in technology-driven health and beauty products. All products will carry the trusted OSRAM brand and, accordingly, meet stringent quality standards while being fully developed, produced, and marketed by Ziwooo Biotechnology.
Product launch in February 2026
Ziwooo will roll out a dedicated OSRAM-branded Health & Beauty portfolio, including:
• Red-light therapy and massage wearables;
• UVB skin therapy devices;
• LED therapy solutions;
• Depilators.
About the OSRAM brand licensing program
In 2025, ams OSRAM established its dedicated IP Offerings business to expand the OSRAM brand into new product categories. The recent partnerships with EURES GmbH for consumer batteries in the home segment, and now with Ziwooo Biotechnology for Health & Beauty, demonstrate the strategic evolution of the company’s global brand licensing strategy.
