The transaction strengthens Metso’s existing distributor network in France by combining two experienced partners and enhancing service continuity and customer proximity.
BIA Group (biagroup.com) has been an official Metso representative for more than 95 years, serving aggregates customers in Belgium and West Africa. The acquisition unites two Metso distributors with complementary strengths and further reinforces Metso’s ability to support its customers in France through strong local expertise, reliable aftermarket services, and access to Metso’s solutions and technologies.
BPM Construction (formerly SAMI TP) has been a Metso distributor for many years and operates six locations across northern and western France, providing sales, service and aftersales support. Following the acquisition, operations of BPM Construction will be integrated into BIA France, ensuring uninterrupted service for its customers while benefiting from BIA Group’s broader international capabilities and resources.
