The online version complements the existing desktop solution and can be used on a wide range of devices from desktops and tablets to smartphones. The new software is now available on the LANXESS website.
New: Collaborative project work
“LewaPlus Online makes the design of ion exchange systems even more flexible and easier. The software does not need to be installed and can be accessed quickly. The database is always up to date for all users,” says Dr. Stefan Neufeind, Head of Business Development and Applications for Liquid Purification Technologies at LANXESS. “With LewaPlus Online, we are further developing our proven digital platform for the design of ion exchange systems for water treatment, thereby taking customer service to a new and contemporary level.”
Users can export results directly from the browser-based application for documentation and archiving purposes. A new feature is the project sharing function, which allows users to work on projects together. The desktop version of LewaPlus remains available.
First module: Demineralization
The new online version includes a demineralization module that makes it easy to plan and dimension water treatment systems. Additional modules will follow successively, expanding the functionality.
As before, LewaPlus supports the design of individual process and system configurations. A particular focus is on applications in water treatment and the food and beverage industry. The use of the software increases productivity while reducing the consumption of chemicals and water.
