Northern Technologies is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance shielding products for the data communications industry. Through the agreement, Mouser now stocks a wide range of Northern Technologies products, including connector covers, D-subminiature, SCSI, V.35, and modular-style connectors.
The Northern Technologies D3 D-subminiature solder cup connectors, now available from Mouser, feature a high-density design with 15, 26, 44, 62, or 78 positions. The D3 connectors are constructed using steel shell material, copper alloy contacts, and UL94V0-rated thermoplastic insulation. These connectors feature a 3A current rating and a voltage rating of 250VAC. These solder cup connectors offer a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000VAC at one minute, insulation resistance of 500MΩ at 500VDC, and <15mΩ contact resistance.
The DB D-subminiature dust covers are designed to protect D-sub connectors from dust and environmental contaminants. The covers are made from low-density polyethylene material, are available in white or translucent colors, and fit both male and female connectors.
The DC D-subminiature crimp connectors are available in two variants: standard-density and high-density. The standard-density connectors come with 9, 15, 25, 37, and 50 positions, while the high-density connectors come in 15, 26, 44, and 62 positions. These connectors feature a durable steel shell and a UL94V-0 rated thermoplastic insulator. The DC D-sub connectors offer a current rating of 3A, a voltage rating of 250VAC, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000VAC for 1 minute. The DC crimp connectors feature an insulation resistance of 3000MΩ at 500VDC and contact resistance of <15mΩ, ensuring minimal signal loss. These connectors operate within the -55°C to 105°C temperature range.
The DE D-subminiature solder cup connectors feature contacts made from machined and stamped copper alloys, providing excellent conductivity. These connectors are available in 9, 15, 25, 37, and 50 positions and offer a 3A current rating, a 250VAC voltage rating, a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000VAC, and an insulation resistance of 3000MΩ. These connectors maintain a contact resistance of <15mΩ, ensuring minimal signal loss.
