Curtiss-Wright today announced that four of its leading aerospace and defense products have been recognized in the 2025 Military & Aerospace Electronics (MAE) Innovators Awards. This prestigious program honors the most impactful innovations advancing aerospace and defense electronics. Curtiss-Wright earned one Platinum, one Gold, and two Silver awards across a diverse portfolio of embedded computing, motion control, avionics, and tactical communications solutions.
“We’re proud that MAE’s judging panel recognized the impact of these Curtiss-Wright solutions,” said Brian Perry, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Curtiss-Wright. “This year’s honors reflect our customers’ trust in us to deliver modular, mission-ready technologies that advance aerospace and defense capabilities. These products are helping customers move faster, integrate smarter, and achieve critical outcomes in the field and in the air.”
Curtiss-Wright was honored for the following products:
• VPX3-536 GPU Processor Card Platinum Honoree
Recognized for setting a new benchmark in 3U SOSATM aligned embedded processing, the VPX3-536 delivers ultra-low-latency, high-throughput signal processing with advanced AMD Versal™ AI acceleration and 28-lane fiber optic I/O ideal for radar, EW, and SIGINT applications.
• Motion Control Stabilization System Gold Honoree
A modular, electromechanical stabilization platform proven across battlefield, transportation, and cinematic use cases. It enables precise control in extreme environments from NATO main battle tanks to Swiss rail systems through ruggedized motion controllers, fiber optic gyros, and actuators.
• Fortress HUMS™ Silver Honoree
The industry’s first combined ED-112A flight recorder and health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) in a single unit. Fortress HUMS saves space and weight while enhancing aircraft safety, diagnostics, and maintainability with modern smart sensor technology and simplified installation. Recently selected to support international UH-60 Black Hawk operations, Fortress HUMS enables operators to improve mission readiness and safety through proactive, condition-based maintenance.
• PacStar® Modular Radio Center (MRC) Silver Honoree
A deployable, scalable solution that integrates DOD and civilian radios into flexible tactical networks. PacStar MRC simplifies radio-IP convergence, enables rapid customization for diverse mission profiles, and enhances cross-domain interoperability in austere environments.
The MAE Innovators Awards program is judged by an independent panel of aerospace and defense electronics experts selected by the editorial staff at Military & Aerospace Electronics. Awards are presented at the Platinum, Gold, and Silver levels to recognize products that demonstrate excellence in innovation, efficiency, and impact on end-user operations.
