Harbor Solutions, a top managed service provider (MSP) specializing in cyber resiliency and data recovery, announces today its strategic expansion into Australia and New Zealand (ANZ)
In collaboration with Rubrik, a leading cybersecurity company, Harbor is entering the region as the initial phase of the company’s wider APAC growth strategy.
Australian Companies Facing Rising Threat of Cyberattacks
Many Australian organisations are still unprepared to address the hazards hybrid IT environments pose. According to recent research from Rubrik, 92% of local organisations experienced a cyber attack in the past year. Of those that did, 78% said the threat actors were able to at least partially harm backup and recovery options, and more than a third (35%) said the attackers were completely successful in doing so.
As regulatory frameworks evolve and cloud adoption accelerates across ANZ, Harbor sees a unique opportunity to deliver its proven recovery and resilience model to a market that closely aligns with its cultural values and technical sophistication. The move comes in direct response to growing regional demand for repeatable, supportable recovery outcomes that go beyond technology and address the complexities of people, process, and incident response.

Harbor’s expansion into ANZ is fuelled by a clear vision: a material share of the company’s future revenue will be driven by international markets. Australia was chosen as the launchpad for APAC due to strong cultural alignment that complements Harbor’s already elite team.
Steven Baker will lead the local expansion after being appointed ANZ Country Manager, reporting directly to Harbor's Chief Revenue Officer. In this new role, he is tasked with identifying and driving new opportunities and providing foundational leadership as Harbor looks to aggressively grow in the region. Baker will oversee operations including sales, marketing, partnerships and customer outcomes.
