The awards program selected 5 Gold Awards and 32 Excellence Awards, honoring a total of 37 companies; TDK also won the Commendation Award in the Daiwa IR’s Internet Award 2024.
For the Daiwa IR’s Internet Award 2024 (daiwair.co.jp), Daiwa Investor Relations Co. Ltd. surveyed and evaluated the websites of 4,098 listed companies based on the 5T&C* concept that investor relations activities reflect regarding the internet presence of selected companies based on these qualities: timely, transparent, traceable, trustworthy, total and communication.
In the sustainability category, for which TDK won the Sustainability Excellence Award this time, the companies' sustainability websites were reviewed focusing on six items: the top page, general policy, the environment, society, governance and support. TDK was highly rated in the areas of the environment and governance. Regarding the environment, TDK received full points based on its webpage providing information about TDK's way of thinking, policies, systems, and quantitative data connected to social issues associated with climate change and other environmental matters. In the area of governance, TDK was highly rated because the webpage provided information about TDK's way of thinking, its policies, systems, and quantitative data connected to requests regarding corporate governance.
To realize its long-term vision,“TDK Transformation,” TDK continues to appropriately communicate IR and sustainability information to build, maintain, and deepen its trust-based relationship with its stakeholders.
