This annual event offers a unique opportunity to experience the world of rail up close. This year marks Alstom's second consecutive participation in Raildagen, building on its presence in Rotterdam last year, and providing a unique opportunity to experience the world of rail up close.
This year's theme is 'Rail Safety.’ During Raildagen, Alstom will open its doors in Utrecht, allowing visitors to go behind the scenes of the rail industry and discover the latest innovations and technologies that ensure rail safety.
Test Lab
A special highlight of the event will be the official opening of the brand-new Test Lab on Friday, September 20, at 11:00. Flavien Gradisnik (Benelux Digital Director) and Bernard Belvaux (Benelux Managing Director) will unveil this state-of-the-art laboratory. The Test Lab offers advanced test benches simulating various railway safety systems, including our world-class signalling technologies such as ERTMS[1] on the Betuweroute, the Amsterdam-Utrecht line, the CBTC[2] system of the Amsterdam metro and the safety systems of the Rotterdam metro. This milestone underlines Alstom's commitment to innovation and safety.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the new lab and take part in fascinating presentations and live demonstrations by experts.
