Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, today announced it has entered into a global distribution agreement with Richtek, a global leader in high-performance analog ICs for signal-processing applications. Richtek’s portfolio includes data converters, amplifiers, voltage regulators, gate drivers, power management ICs, and associated development tools. Richtek components can be found improving the performance of consumer electronics, computers, communications equipment, industrial products and automotive applications.
The Richtek RD0004 load transient tool is designed to verify the pulse load behavior of voltage regulators. The RD0004 can generate very fast load steps, enabling the device to check DC/DC converter stability, layout resonance, input supply ringing and more. Seven different pulse load resistors can be selected via jumpers, and an adjustable power resistor is used for setting the static load level. Pulse load frequency and duty cycle can be adjusted via push buttons. The Richtek RD0004 can also be used for testing low dropout regulators and boost and buck-boost converters. The tool is battery-powered, which makes it easy to apply at any point in an application.
The RT6190 is a versatile bi-directional Buck-Boost controller designed to provide USB-PD functionality for a wide range of applications, such as power banks, USB-PD chargers, car chargers, e-bikes and solar applications. The device can operate with a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 36 V, and the output voltage can be programmable between 3V and 36V. The RT6190 implements a peak current mode control mechanism with the programmable constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) output to support USB-PD 3.0 SPR mode and 3.1 EPR mode. With an I2C-compatible interface, the RT6190 supports many programmable functions, including CV/CC output, switching frequency, and cable voltage drop compensation.
The RTQ6052 is a high-side current-shunt monitor that integrates a current-sense amplifier, bandgap reference, and a comparator with latching output. This industrial-grade monitor senses drops across shunts at common-mode voltages from 2 V to 80 V and supports a 100 V/V output voltage scale. The RTQ6052 is suitable for servers, network equipment, portable, battery-powered devices, and point of load (POL) power modules.
The Richtek RT9069 low-dropout voltage linear regulator offers the benefits of high input voltage, low-dropout voltage, low-power consumption and miniaturized packaging. The features of low quiescent current as low as 2 μA and zero disable current are ideal for powering the battery equipment to a longer service life.
