His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed Bin Nasser AL Na'aimi, Chairman and President of the College Council, Al Buraimi University College and Mr. Naeem Radi, CEO, Al Khawarizmi International College signed the Articulation Agreement on 12th May, 2007 at the Al Buraimi Hotel, to establish an association for the academic cooperation between the two colleges. Present at the ceremony were Dr. Abdulla Hatem Al Aani, Dean, BUC. The signing ceremony was attended by key staff members of both institutions, distinguished guests from the education and training field as well as members of the press from the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman.
This Articulation Agreement allows students of KIC to transfer most of the credits earned at Khawarizmi College to programs at Buraimi College.
The benefits of the association will also extend to students of both institutions through enhanced learning resources and scientific, social and sports programs. This agreement will open the doors for professional development of the teaching staff of both institutions and exchange of intellectual expertise.
During the event, Mr. Radi announced that, “the college is waiting for academic accreditation for two new programs: Islamic Banking/ Graphics and Film Animation in Abu Dhabi Branch this year, and to be launched in Al Ain Branch later following the college policy in updating and expansion.
