Leviton enhanced its Cat 6A patch cords with a new compact plug and boot design to give network managers addressing applications such as wireless, smart building technologies and PoE the same flexibility with improved bend radius while supporting higher data rates up to 10 Gb/s. The short boot reduces potential force applied to the jack/plug interface, and uses less material to create a 30% lighter plug on average than traditional patch cord plugs. This innovative design is available on Leviton Cat 6A Universal UTP/Shielded Patch Cords, Plenum Patch Cords, and dual-rated Cat 6A Small Diameter High-Flex Patch Cords.
