• Report predicts continued market growth as remote and hybrid work drive SaaS application demand;
• Named a “Representative Vendor,” Quest - Quadrotech helps organizations boost user adoption of Microsoft 365 and gain deeper operational visibility and control.
Quest Software, a global systems management, data protection and security software provider, announced today that recently acquired Quest - Quadrotech (quadrotech-it.com) has been named a Representative Vendor in February 2021 Gartner Market Guide for SaaS Management Platforms (SMP). This is the second consecutive time that Quest - Quadrotech, a Microsoft 365 management platform from Quadrotech (acquired by Quest in Nov 2020), has been recognized in the Gartner report. The report sets out recommended criteria organizations should expect from an SMP.
SaaS-based applications such as Microsoft 365 are increasingly popular options to address the pandemic-induced shift to working from home and expected hybrid work arrangements. However, these applications bring complexity; and the number of portals that infrastructure and operations (I&O) leaders need to manage is only continuing to grow.
I&O leaders need visibility and control over their ever-expanding IT environments, driving demand for integrated SMPs. Gartner cites this trend in the Market Guide report, noting it “expect(s) to see continued, modest growth in this market, influenced by the growth in procurement and consumption of SaaS applications due to remote and hybrid work; Gartner has observed a shift toward multi-SaaS management in tools that initially focused on single-SaaS management.”
“Quest’s Microsoft Platform Management business is focused on enabling organizations to maximize their Microsoft investment and for IT teams to perform cloud migrations successfully, no matter how complex. Whether our customers have one tenant or multiple tenants, Quadrotech supports even the most complicated Microsoft 365 management and security challenges,” said Michael Tweddle, MPM President and GM, Quest Software. “We believe the inclusion of Quest - Quadrotech in the Gartner Market Guide report demonstrates how Quest’s solutions are in lockstep with customer needs, and it reinforces Quest’s position as an expert vendor supporting Microsoft solutions.”
Having served customers for over 30 years, the Quest Microsoft Platform Management business is the Microsoft ISV that organizations turn to when planning to migrate, manage and secure their Microsoft environments. With the recent acquisition of Quadrotech, the business strengthens its product portfolio, elevates its migration leadership position, and specifically with Quadrotech Nova, improves its MSP support and overall Microsoft 365 multi-tenant management capabilities. Quadrotech Nova’s unique multi-tenant management capabilities are ideal for Quest’s growing partner community. MSPs benefit from integrated management services that make it easier and more efficient to manage multiple Microsoft 365 environments.
