Recognizing the unique strengths, vision and achievements of a select group of women, this prestigious annual list acknowledges channel leaders who are blazing a trail for future generations. These women come from all areas of the IT ecosystem, including technology vendors, distributors, solution providers and other IT organizations.
The CRN®editorial team selects the honorees to celebrate a list of exceptional women acclaimed for their contributions to channel advocacy, growth and thought leadership, and their dedication to the IT channel.
“CRN’s 2020 Women of the Channel list recognizes an accomplished group of influential women leaders whose strategic vision and unique achievements accelerate channel growth through cultivated partnerships, innovative thought leadership, and unwavering dedication to the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are proud to honor them for their accomplishments and contributions to driving channel success.”
This year’s award recognize Raluca Avram, Bitdefender’s Senior Manager of the Worldwide Partner Program, as well as Cristina Vasilescu, Senior Manager of Bitdefender’s EMEA and ANZ Field & Channel Marketing, Paula Enache, Manager of Bitdefender’s WW Digital Partner Program, and Andrada Georgescu, Manager of Bitdefender’s WW Partner Program Development.
“It’s an honor to earn this new recognition from CRN, as well as being named 2020 Channel Chief, earlier this year” said Avram. “It is, after all, a combination of vision, teamwork and dedication. My main focus in 2019 was to support our partners with dedicated programs and, together with my team, to put in place new tools to grow their revenue stream. In 2020 my focus will be to improve partners' digital journey with Bitdefender so as to respond better to their core business needs. Part of this wide-ranging project is expanding the adoption and usage of the channel marketing automation tool, a new lead generation program, available to all our partners. 2020 is the year of the digital focus and closer partnerships.”
Vasilescu added that,“For me, personally, being part of such a prestigious list, is pushing me to raise the bar even higher.
