Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division, today announced that its Aerospace Instrumentation (AI) group, a trusted leading supplier of flight test instrumentation (FTI) hardware and software, has added the popular IADS real-time and post-test display and analysis software product line to its industry-leading flight test instrumentation (FTI) solution portfolio. Curtiss-Wright IADS products will continue to be developed and supported, with no interruption in service for all current IADS customers, by the original IADS team based in Palmdale, California. The addition of the fully featured IADS software product line enables Curtiss-Wright to provide its customers with a more complete FTI solution from a single source.

IADS is the premier real-time display and post-test analysis product for flight test, used by every major test program in the US and in many other countries world-wide. The IADS software easily scales from processing large multi-discipline test rooms to single user systems in multiple test environments. It allows flight test engineers to monitor, in real-time, huge amounts of data collected from an aircraft during a flight test program. This data is used to help validate the successful completion of test points and for safety. IADS also enables detailed analysis of the data to be performed post-test. With support for user-customizable data display, IADS significantly improves flight test efficiencies and helps to speed program completion.
