Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division, a proven leading supplier of deployed video management solutions, today announced that its Letchworth, UK facility (Primagraphics DBA Curtiss-Wright) has been awarded the Cyber Essential Plus Certificate of Compliance following a successful independent assessment against the Cyber Essentials Standard. Cyber Essentials (cyberessentials.ncsc.gov.uk) is a UK government information assurance scheme operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) that encourages organizations to adopt good practice in information security. The Certificate certifies that Curtiss-Wright’s facility was assessed as meeting the Cyber Essentials implementation profile (BIS/14/696/1.5) and that its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) defenses were assessed as satisfactory against commodity based cyber-attack at the time of testing. Curtiss-Wright worked with an award winning information security and risk management company, Risk Factory, to gain the certification.
