ZOLL® Medical Corporation, an Asahi Kasei Group Company that manufactures medical devices and related software solutions, announced today that its portfolio of resuscitation technologies for the workplace will be on display at A+A Congress 2019 (Booth D21, Hall 10). A+A Congress, which will take place 5-8 November in Düsseldorf, Germany, is the largest international trade forum for workplace safety, security, and health.
ZOLL's workplace automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are capable of helping all rescuers achieve the recommendations in the 2015 European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, which are followed by many countries around the world.
Unsurpassed CPR Support
Because high-quality CPR is critical to saving lives in medical emergencies, ZOLL has been committed to improving CPR since 2002. ZOLL was the first defibrillator manufacturer to introduce real-time CPR feedback in its AED Plus®. Designed for workplace safety, the AED Plus and the ZOLL AED 3® defibrillators both feature Real CPR Help®, which provides rescuers with audio and visual feedback on compression rate and depth to help ensure high-quality CPR.
Real CPR Help guides even the untrained rescuer through every step of performing proper CPR and advises when and if a shock is necessary.
The ZOLL AED 3 defibrillator offers enhanced Real CPR Help technology, which provides a full-color display with vivid rescue images, CPR cycle timer, and a large color bar gauge that shows CPR compression depth. It also features RapidShock Analysis™, which enables the industry’s shortest rhythm analysis for more continuous lifesaving CPR. Its CPR Uni-padz™ electrodes can be used on both adult and pediatric patients, so there is no need for two sets of pads.
Simulate Real CPR Help with the ZOLL AED 3 Trainer
The ZOLL AED 3 Trainer is the only AED training solution that provides real-time feedback on a trainee’s compression quality. The trainer allows students to learn how to achieve the proper depth and rate of CPR chest compressions in a training setting. It is designed to closely mimic the operation of the clinical AED, offering students a more realistic rescue experience.
The trainer features an active LCD display with full-color images that mirror what a student will see on a clinical ZOLL AED 3 device.
CPR in Virtual Reality
With ZOLL's new CPR application in virtual reality, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the power of Real CPR Help with the ZOLL AED 3 in a virtual world. Attendees can become "Unexpected Heroes" in a virtual rescue with this fully immersive virtual reality scenario.
