Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corp, the world’s leading high voltage power supply, X-Ray generator and Monoblock® X-Ray source manufacturer, announces the introduction of their new DXM160 designed for OEM applications that include Industrial NDT, X-Ray Sorting, Plastics Sorting, Crystal Inspection, Diamond and other Gemstone Inspection, Food Inspection, Mineral Analysis, Thickness/Plating Measurement, Security Scanning, X-Ray Fluorescence, and X-Ray Diffraction.
The compact, lightweight DXM160’s universal input, small package size and choice of three standard digital interfaces simplifies integrating the DXM into any X-Ray analysis system. Models are available to operate either floating filament (negative HV polarity) or ground referenced filament (positive HV polarity), X-Ray tube designs. DSP based emission control circuitry provides excellent regulation of emission current, along with outstanding stability performance. The model is hot anode or hot cathode x-ray tube capable, with output voltage 0-160kV and maximum output power at 1200W.
