Team Beretta members in attendance at this competition included Zachary Kienbaum, Joseph Fanizzi, Meagan Harrington, Jared Greenwood, Diane Sorantino, Desirae Edmunds, and Dominic Gross.
Kienbaum, who shoots with a standard Beretta DT11, achieved a runner-up podium honor in the main event with a score of 188 out of 200 targets, after winning a close shoot-off with the third place finisher. He also secured two champion podium honors and a third-place podium finish in the Super Sporting, 5-Stand, and Master’s Cup events with scores of 96/100, 96/100, and 95/100, respectively.
Kienbaum also received a fourth-place finish in the FITASC event after two intense shoot-offs with 6 of his fellow competitors with the final shoot-off measuring at a distance of 100 yards.
Kienbaum’s exceptional performance during this competition awarded him with the HOA title for the White Flyer All-Around event with a score of 473 out of 500 targets.
Fanizzi, shooting with an A400 Xcel Sporting Black Edition, achieved a sub-junior champion podium honor in the main event with a score of 186 out of 200 targets, beating the runner-up finisher by 9 targets. He also secured three additional sub-junior champion podium honors in the Master’s Cup, Super Sporting, and 5-Stand events with scores of 93/100, 95/100, and 91/100, respectively.
Additionally, Fanizzi’s impeccable performance at this competition granted him with the sub-junior champion title in the White Flyer All-Around event with a score of 460 out of 500 targets. Fanizzi is a junior Team Beretta shooter who recently joined the team at the end of last year’s competition season and has been performing remarkably well during the 2019 season.
Harrington, a junior Team Beretta shooter who competes with a Beretta 692 Black, attained a ladies third-place podium finish in the main event with a score of 166 out of 200 targets. She also brought home a ladies champion podium honor in the Super Sporting event with a score of 88 targets out of 100.
Harrington’s prodigious performance earned her the ladies champion title for the White Flyer All-Around event with a score 416 out of 500 targets.
Greenwood, a junior Team Beretta shooter, topped the podium in the junior 5-Stand event with a score of 95 out of 100 targets. He also won a junior third-place podium finish in the Long Bird FITASC event with a score of 39 out of 50 targets.
Sorantino, Team Beretta captain, achieved a ladies runner-up podium honor in the Master’s Cup event with a score of 83 targets out of 100, besting the third place finisher by 2 targets.
Edmunds, who shoots with a Beretta DT11 L, secured a ladies runner-up and a ladies third-place podium finish in the Super Sporting and 5-Stand events with scores of 85/100 and 87/100, respectively. She also won the ladies runner-up title in the competition’s White Flyer All-Around event with a score of 415 out of 500 targets.
Gross, a junior Team Beretta shooter, won a junior runner-up podium finish in the Super Sporting event with a score of 90 out of 100 targets, besting his nearest competitor by 2 targets.
With the entire team winning one or multiple podium titles during this competition, Team Beretta shooters surpassed their podium record from last year’s competition by 11 podiums.
Team Beretta shooters will continue their season at the upcoming 2019 North Central Regional at Claythorne Lodge in Columbus, Kansas from June 12-16.
