A new monthly subscription program allows MSPs to provide their customers with VM backup, VM replication, granular restore, and site recovery, with NAKIVO Backup & Replication. Built specifically for MSPs, the new backup program introduces a simple and low-cost monthly per-machine subscription licensing, where a machine can either be a VMware VM, a Hyper-V VM, or a Nutanix AHV VM. Regardless of the platform, each protected VM is counted as one machine. MSPs gain access to all of the new features of NAKIVO Backup & Replication, which can be used across all of their customers. MSPs pay based on usage per VM, where pricing starts at just $1.6 per VM/per month.
With NAKIVO Backup & Replication’s multi-tenancy, MSPs can introduce VM Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), Replication-as-a-Service(RaaS), and Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) in an easier and more cost-effective way; while setting up, monitoring, and managing all aspects of their data protection through a single pane of glass. Multi-tenancy enables MSPs to create and manage up to 1,000 tenants, where tenants can represent business units, customers, departments, or any other entities. Furthermore, MSPs can manage multiple tenants at once.
With NAKIVO Backup & Replication’s self-service, tenants can log into the self-service portal and create as well as manage their own VM backup, VM replication, granular recovery, and site recovery jobs. Thus, self-service allows MSPs to save time and improve manageability, while allowing their customers to manage data protection tasks on their own. The self-service portal can be individually enabled or disabled for each tenant.
