“We are humbled to receive this great award” Dave Douglas, Director of Golf “It is a dream come true to be celebrating it for the second year in succession. This award would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of all our staff, from Groundkeepers to Sales, who make this club such a fabulous place to work and visit. We will all be celebrating for the year to come. “
10Best is a unique award since no business pays to be listed and independent readers help pick the 10best in any category. Travel experts select the top 20 nominees in the contest, and it is up to readers to make the final decision by casting their vote. Provo Golf Club requested votes via Facebook, and through their contact list of Turks and Caicos’ residents.
This was the second nomination for Provo Golf Club and competition was tough, with the course up against the-best-of-the-best in The Caribbean. Eventually Old Quarry Golf Course (Curacao) was voted in 1st place, Punta Aspada (Dominican Republic) in second, Teeth of the Dog at Casa De Campo (Dominican Republic) third and The Abaco Club in the Bahamas in 4th place.
10Best was launched 20 years ago in 1999, and rebranded USA Today in 2013.
